Fun Family Activities

Abby and Dave went to the ALA Choir concert together.  It was a fun little Daddy Daughter night out.

Pheob & Cam were in town and we had a great time watching conference together! (Even Grandma Larsen watched with us!)

We had a ball playin' ball together for our FHE activity!

Even Ellie played outfield for us!

Random Camping Shots

Marsha & Dawson hanging out.

This is my brother Sam.  He had recently sprained his ankle, so he was taking it easy after a little hike.  Crazy kid!

What's camping without some serious hanging around the fire?

There was no running water at this campsite. So Marsha came up with a brilliant plan to label our water bottles so we would be awesome and organized...and have water to drink.  Thanks Marsha!

This was one of our breakfasts...boiled omelets in a bag.  They turned out awesome!!

My sister Heath reading a good book in the sunshine!

On Sunday, Dave and I and the kids went and found a little spot along the very slow, small creek where we could dip our feet in.  It felt so good!  And we saw a bunch of crawdads too!

Sam, Cam & Daws rosten stuff on the fire.  Oh ya, camping rocks!

The Amazing Creator!

Here she is! My sister Pheobe not only made all of Thanksgiving dinner single handedly....

but she also makes amazingly awesome and cute things like all these bibs for the kids!
River the Pirate! "Arrrgh!"
Abby the "roll sniffer"!

Maddy the "calm and collected". Why are these names all in quotes?? I don't know! But it made you read them very carefully huh? huh?

PS- Note, these bib pictures were not taken Thanksgiving dinner...it was yet a light soup & vegis lunch to tide us over. :D

Thanksgiving Delish!

Here lay our feast! We spent Thanksgiving with my sister Pheobe & her family in Fountain Hills, AZ. We had a great time! My sister is an amazing Chef! I always learn so much from her and ALWAYS want to eat more than I should!
Homemade yumminess through and through! Pheobe did an amazing job! Nice work sis! And those yams were to die for!

Does this plate look a little empty to you??? This was Dave's FIRST plate! lol
Oh, it was so good! Just looking at this picture makes me hungry!
Thanks so much to Pheobe & Cameron for hosting us!
