Talbot Christmas Party 2012

This is at the Talbot Christmas Party!  We did it at Mom & Dad Omer's house this year and we were all in town because of the Omer Family Reunion.  I'm still trying to remember why we have each person with each dessert here.  I think Amy made the one in front of her.  Charlotte's bib matches the Christmas cake penguins.  And I think Aunt Gina made the other cake?  :0)

Silly Jacob! :)  (Dan, Charlotte, Roz and Gina in the background.)

It was so fun to be all together.  This is everyone!  Even Gina & Rex, Tammy & Jay (Mom's 2 sisters and their spouses were there.) So glad we were able to be up there this year!

Christmas Baking Day

We did a fun baking day this year.  It was so fun!  We all brought ingredients to make 1 or 2 Christmas treats to our house.  Then we each got to take some of everything home.  It was BRILLIANT!  Our house smelled AmaZinG!!

We made chocolate Christmas suckers and bites too.  And painted some even to be all detailed!

Here's Abby & Joey diving into one of the suckers they made! MMmmmm!

Queen Creek Holiday Parade

At the parade!  Dave's ALA band was playing in the Queen Creek Parade this year.  We were so so excited for him!

The kids loved the horses.

And all the floats...(ok, there were only a small handful of them.  Queen Creek is tiny!)

One of my best friends from high school came with her adorable daughter to watch with us.  It was way fun to see her!

There they are!  They sounded awesome!

Some people threw candy out and the kids would run for it!  Look close....I'm pretty sure Joey's feet are OFF the ground!  He was fast at grabbing that candy!  :)

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning is here!

Abbies big present was a princess art set.

Joey's was a basketball hoop.

Looks like a little boy on Christmas morning huh?  Oh wait, he is a boy on Christmas morning.  ;)

Presents from Grandmas!

It was a a fun Christmas morning together as a family.  So much fun to watch the kids get excited about opening presents and what not. Special day!

Chrismas Eve on Natal Street

We drove up to Mesa and spent Christmas Eve with all my (Amber's) family that live up there.  We did it at Heather's cute house this time, and had a wonderful time!

Heather arranged for us all to help make hot chocolate mallos rolled in chocolate and candy cane pieces!  Mmmm!

My sister Heather...so gorgeous!

My daddy-o!  Passing out the presents like the good ole days. :D

My sister Jen at 7 months prego!  (so glad she was home and not in New Mexico's hospital!)

The little cleptos!  They opened presents without any of us knowing...then we didn't know who they were supposed to go to!  LOL The little stinkers!

Slap bracelet joy!

Abby, Sam & Jen.

Cute couple... Heather & her boyfriend, Bobby, next to their gorgeous tree!

Candybar game!!

We had so much fun playing this!

Nice catch of Dave huh?  :)

Go Abby!

I love this picture!  I love my family!  I'm so grateful we got to be with them this day.  They mean the world to me, and I love being able to be with them for holidays...and well, any day I can get!  Merry Christmas!

Abby in the Children's Choir

A friend in our ward started a children's choir and Abby was super excited to join!

This was on their performance day.  They were adorable! Abby loved singing the fun Christmas music!

The girl's favorite song was the one where they got to play kazoos.  Are you surprised?

Here are a couple little videos of the girls singing.  They are kinda long, so no pressure to watch the whole thing.

A Choo-choo They Can Chew Up

Ginger bread train time!  Can you feel the excitement in the air? I thought the kids were going to pass out they were so ecstatic!

Ta-da!  All done.  If you look hard, Joey's face has quite a green tint to it! :)

Ok, this is the kid shelf...they can play with these decorations.  But the reason I took this picture is because of where Abby chose to hang the mistletoe! :)

Making the Tree Even More Pur-tee

It's finally time to decorate the tree!  Yay!

So not ALL of the ornaments were a foot above the ground. :)

Lift me! :)

Abbies turn.  Man these kids loved decorating the tree!

I spy a Joey.  This isn't the complete final tree product.  I added red and gold ribbon looping around it that looked gorgeous!

New lights this year...it'll take some getting used to.

Let's see...I would be 6 months prego here.  :)  The holidays really made time fly through November and December.  Not bad!
