We had a lovely Easter Sabath. It was simply wonderful to be home with Dave and the kids and reflect on a loving Savior who died for us and lived again so that we might do the same someday!
While Dave was out of town, Abby & I made suckers! We found chocolate on sale for Easter and decided to start our mold collection. Abby was on cloud 9! I thought they turned out pretty cute too!
We've been wondering what it would look like when the artichoke plants started giving fruit...and here it is! It totally surprised me- I was out pulling weeds and walked right by them and did a double take. It is really fun to watch them popping out of those big leaves! We cut one yesterday and so I hope they taste good! Can you see the baby ones just below the bigger ones in both pictures? These are my favorite artichokes! :)
We got a 2nd car!!---kinda. Dave's good, kind and thoughtful friend Mike Mamanakis lent us his old beauty of a car for the time being! Although it's a little loud and leaves Dave kinda stinky after, it really has been a little miracle in our eyes! Mike literally called a day or two before we were desperately trying to work out the sharing one car details of a very busy and tough week of both Dave & I. The Lord knows our needs and is very willing to bless us! Thank you to the Mamanakis' as well! You guys are the best!
