This picture is VERY typical of our little Abby that is not so little anymore. She dresses herself these days and as you can see we end up with quite the interesting clothing combos and all sorts of things inside out and backwards. The only one I usually don't let fly is when she uses a leg hole as the waist hole of her undies. That just looks a little too uncomfortable for me to let go. :D Abby is extremely independant, and can be quite the helper when she wants to be. We only have 2 old VHS disney princess movies, nevertheless she is a princess lover...into dancing and singing like Belle & Arial. As you can see in the movie clip below, she would dance with her Daddy for hours at a time if he'd go for it...spinning, spinning and more spinning! :)
Can you tell which part of the package I wrote and which part Abby decorated?
Abby giving Dave her Daddy's Day gift. She wrapped it and decorated it and put the bow on! She was very proud of it!
Here she is reading the card to him! :D
The gift was a cute little book...so Dave read it to her on the spot!
It's hard to resist kissing this kid's head! :)
Everyone LOVES trying to make him laugh!
The loves of my life! They make me happy every day!
Dave-- I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day! You are an incredible Father--these 2 kids adore your every word and move. I hope you can feel our love and continue to look forward to coming home every day!
Isn't this cake the coolest? My amazing friend Amanda made it for me! Dave took me out for a yummy dinner and movie for my birthday and when we got home, this awesome cake, drinks & balloon were sitting in our kitchen! It was such a great surprise and the cake was delicious! Thank you so much Amanda & Dave for making my birthday wonderful!
