Desert Museum Fun

Cousin love!
We decided to go out to the Desert Museum while Tom & Amy and their kids were still here. It was a good time!

The desert really is beautiful!

Fun with Fam

Here are two of Tom's kids, Jack and Gideon, so...my nephews from the LA area--cute stuff!

The adorable Britta, my niece!

I can't say enough how much fun these guys had together.  One of my favorite moments watching them was Jacob, the oldest boy cousin, helping Joey learn how to play baseball.  Joey worshiped the ground he walked on! :)

The line up of cousins...River, Britta, Allison, Maddy, Abby, Gideon & Jacob.  We are just missing Joey & Jack.

Our belly shot together.  I am a month ahead of her, so I CAN  have a bigger belly! :) My sister Jenny is due a month before me, and this sister Pheobe, is due a month after me.  It's so fun!  I love being prego all at the same time!

Thanksgiving Day in Tucson

Thanksgiving was a riot this year!  We had Dave's bro, Tom, and his family come from L.A..  And we had my sister Pheobe & her family come from Round Rock, TX!!  And we also got to have my Dad, Grandma, and sister Jenny & her husband come down from the Mesa valley!  It was a full house and wonderful!

Joey flew up there! Kidding!  The kids (Abby and Joey had 7 cousins here!) played in that empty garbage can for hours!!

The night before Thanksgiving, Tom & Amy helped us make our little turkey name tag holders.  We couldn't find white frosting tubes...so they got black and pink eyes! LOL

Joey could barely resist eating them...such restraint! :)

I think they turned out cute!  I went a little crazy and make some of them quite unique.

My wonderful Dad helped me do so much of the cooking!  He is an amazing chef!  I never could have pulled it off without him.

The kids played together non stop!  Abby and Joey were in heaven!

Of course it's tradition to eat a relish trey all afternoon 'til dinner...while we look at the black friday ads! :)

Table 1 crew...

Table 2 crew...

We had a great time, and the food was delicious!  We are so grateful for wonderful family love and support.  We seriously have the best family ever!  So much to be grateful for all through the year.  But one thing we can't help but feel immensely blessed by, is being surrounded by loved ones on Thanksgiving day!  Thank you to everyone who made the long trek to come to Tucson and stay with us!  We love you all!

Twilight Sister's Night

(Pheobe & Jenny)
3 of my sisters came into town to go see the newest Twilight movie that had just come out, all together!  We made a sister's night of it that was so wonderful!  We went to my favorite restaurant...OLIVE GARDEN, first, and had a delicious dinner.  MMMMMM!  I could eat anything from there right now!

(Pheob, Jen, Heath & Me)
I look so fat in this picture...so just pass on by it quickly! :)

Then we went to the theatre and saw Breaking Dawn Pt.1.  My sister's friend made us all treat bags that had vampire teeth in them.  We are awesome! :)

I think this was the first time we've done something like this.  I loved it!   It's hardly ever possible since the 4 of us live in 3 different cities, never mind 2 diff states.  But I really hope it's not the last. My sisters are so fun!  We missed Sadie too!  She is my 4th and youngest sister who lives in Utah.  Wish you coulda been there Sade!

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan?  :B

Halloween Night at the Omer's

Halloween night was very nice and relaxed this year.  The kids went out with Dave while I finished dinner, and came back with a load of candy!

Abby has cookies and milk in her tummy, and Joey...candy of course! :)

Dave...had Pi in his tummy! :)

Here's an aerial view of our festive dinner.  Thanks to mom for a fun tradition!

Joey's spider!

The jackpot!

Joey's jackpot!  (Now I know why the parents have to "check" the kids candy for poisonous candy...mwhahaha!  We scored! ;-D )

Halloween Time

These are at my sister Jenny's (and Dawson's) annual costume party!  Abby represents our family.  I'm not sure how and why we didn't get a picture of our whole family on our camera.  But oh-well.  We were a skeleton family.  And we glowed in the dark too!

Grandma Larsen and Uncle Randy even dressed up!  :)

This is the photo opp where Dawson and Jenny set up pictures to be taken of everyone at their party in their costumes.  Fun back drop huh?

Heather the oompa-lumpa. Her and my dad (as Willy Wonka) won the first place costume prize!

The party was a success of course!  Everyone had a blast!  Jenny was a bearded woman.  Hilarious!
