Joey is now THREE!

He sure ripped into his presents! 

He got a fun pop up dinosaur book!

Some presents he needed help from his big sister to open! ;)

Grandma Kathy gave him some fun tub sticker toys as well as some other fun activities!

Grandma and Grandpa Omer sent a baseball outfit and set!   Perfect!

He looks like a natural to me! 

His main gift was his very own first bicycle!  

Joey's birthday pie!

Going right along with the birthday theme, Joey got a t-ball stand from his Aunt Pheobe & family!  This kid was quite spoiled and all his presents were very thoughtful and perfect for our little 3 yr old Joey!

Preschool Update

My turn to teach preschool!!  Our theme was careers this time.  For our field trip we went to the Postal History Foundation:  http://www.postalhistoryfoundation.org/.  The kids had a great time!  They started by reading the kids an adorable book about a postal worker trying to deliver mail to a farm where the cow tried to scare the worker.  It was super silly...I wish I could remember the name of it.

Then they had a bunch of activities/crafts set up for the kids all to do with stamps.  I never would have guessed how much fun the kids could have picking and sorting through thousands of stamps. There were some really neat ones!  

Then to end things they gave the kids a tour of a little postal room that was from one of the foundational postal offices here in AZ a long long time ago.  The highlight was when they got to put on one of the post officer's hats and carry their very heavy satchel! 

Giddy-Up Partner

For Christmas I found this hat in brand new condition, for a quarter at a yard sale.  And this vest (and chaps not shown) from a thrift store for a buck and a half!  I was so pumped!  Joey has been really into Toy Story and the Woody character lately.  So I thought this was a perfect gift!

The coolest part though, was when I found Abby a set..hat scarf, vest...for $5 on clearance a month or so later!  

So a couple horse on a sticks later.... I had me a pair of cow-kid- giddy-up-ers riding all over the house! :0)

Yeee-ha!  That's all folks!

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning is here!

Presents from Grandmas!

It was a a fun Christmas morning together as a family.  So much fun to watch the kids get excited about opening presents and what not. Special day!

Chrismas Eve on Natal Street

We drove up to Mesa and spent Christmas Eve with all my (Amber's) family that live up there.  We did it at Heather's cute house this time, and had a wonderful time!  

Heather arranged for us all to help make hot chocolate mallos rolled in chocolate and candy cane pieces!  Mmmm!

I love this picture!  I love my family!  I'm so grateful we got to be with them this day.  They mean the world to me, and I love being able to be with them for holidays...and well, any day I can get!  Merry Christmas!

Abby in the Children's Choir

A friend in our ward started a children's choir and Abby was super excited to join!  

This was on their performance day.  They were adorable! Abby loved singing the fun Christmas music!

The girl's favorite song was the one where they got to play kazoos.  Are you surprised?
